Smoothie bowls! One-stop-shop to nourishment.

I LOVE smoothie bowls even more than I love smoothies because I'm obsessed with all the toppings! These are such a great way to pack in plant-based nutrients and they're an awesome way to start your day. The photo below is my coconut-peanut butter bowl... recipe below!


Smoothie Base:

1/2 Cup organic Almond milk

1/2 Cup wild, frozen blueberries (antioxidants!)

1 Tbsp. of coconut cream (healthy fats that give this bowl a rich, creamy texture)

1 Tbsp. of ground flax (healthy fibre!)

1 Tbsp. of natural peanut butter (protein + fat, plus great flavour!)

1 cup of spinach (gotta get those greens in there)


Toppings: Here's where you get to be creative! I used: unsweetened coconut, berries (for an extra antioxidant and vitamin boost), Tahini (for an extra nutty flavour), Goji berries (superfood central!) and pomegranate seeds (because they're just to-die-for and so nutritious).
